it just might be a well known fact that im a geek. if not a geek, im an odball, but, never the less, i decided
to let all you meagre pestants in on some cool stuff. Movies, books, bands, stuff that will come in handy if youre feeling
read-y, movie-ish, and a bit off beat.

BOOKS:
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn - basically its about this girl in brooklyn and her messed up
little life. but its fantastic.
Go Ask Alice- its not really a light hearted read. its about a girl who ever so innocently
dives head first into the world of drugs, lies, and mess. its pretty intense, but i recomend it to every girl above 13.
Inventing Elliot - finally a book on my list that wouldnt make a wonderful chick flick.
about a kid in england who goes from social scum to the socialy elite and hates it all... or something.
Gingerbread- the product of a love affair between a model and a married CEO, Cyd- Chraisse
goes to meet her real dad, gay brother and hopelessly single sister, throw in the hot driver, and you've got yourself an all
star book chappies.
How Not to Spend Your Senior Year- All her life she's moved around, across the states
to remote unheard-of towns. so she's usedto it. Finally she finds somewhere she loves, somewhere she dosent want to leave
at all, but what Jo is faced with now is going to ruin everything. Why cant a dead girl run for prom queen?
Maine Squeez- picture it, summer time, living with your 3 best friends while
your parents galavant across europe, you've got a wonderful boyfriend, youre happy. DUN DUN DUN in comes the notorious ex.

Fatality- 4 years ago there was a murder. Big deal right? murders happen all the time right?
it would be, but its not for Rose. everyone thinks she saw something she claims not to have seen. Now shes got the police
on her back, not to mention the person who keeps trying to kill her. excelent book!
Frozen Rodeo- Mom is a weather reporter on the local radio station, and dad is a realtor
by day and comeback figure skater by night. Crush works at IHOP and so does the girl he cant get his lips off of. Work involves
disgusting coffee breath, a crazy U2 fan and the constant worry that the guy hitting up all the gas stations in the area is
going to show up any minute. somehow, it all just ends up being quirky and funny as hell
tuesdays with morrie
in my humble opinion, this book should be read by EVERYONE... not even kidding. go out and buy it now

Ghost world: this is a most excelent movie. it follows the twisted twisted life of a high
school graduate, the end is really symbolic, and you probably wont like it, but its sooo cool anyways
The birds/ Psycho: oh alfred hitchcok.... an amazing man. the birds is about psychotic
birds, psycho is about a psychotic jeleous mother. both are amazing, not so much scarry, but if youre good for something a
bit deeper, then this is your choice category.
